Tibshelf Neighbourhood Plan - the Referendum Version

On Thursday 4th May 2023, the Tibshelf Neighbourhood Plan was voted in favour of by a majority of residents at the referendum. It now forms of the statutory development plan for the parish. Physical copies are also available to view at the Parish Office (at Tibshelf Village Hall, DE55 5NU) or in the Mobile Library.

The Draft Tibshelf Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 16 Submission Version

 Having completed the Regulation 14 period of public consultation and having produced the necessary Regulation 15 documents (available on the Supporting Evidence Documents page) the Parish Council agreed to pass the Plan over to Bolsover District Council for the Regulation 16 consultation and verification period. This runs from 10 November to 23 December 2022 after which an independent examiner will assess the Plan and then BDC will arrange a Referendum – an opportunity for you to vote on the Plan.

The Draft Tibshelf Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 14 Consultation Version

 

As part of this process, the Parish Council is required under Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, to bring the draft Plan to the attention of people who live, work or carry on business in the Plan area.

The period within which comments can be made on the Plan is 1 June 2022 to 28 July 2022.

The Neighbourhood Plan is a really important document, as it outlines a future vision for the Parish and includes planning policies that will be used to determine planning proposals for Tibshelf.

Please take the time to read the draft Plan and give us your views, as these will add strength to the proposals.  This is YOUR Plan and we want to ensure that we have reflected local priorities and aspirations, before its submission to Bolsover District Council.

Where to see the Plan

Copies of the documents are available to view at Alfreton Public Library Mon-Thurs 9.30am-5pm, Fri 9.30am7pm & Sat 9.30am-4pm.

You can examine a copy of the Plan, ask questions or leave comments at Tibshelf Village Hall Meeting Room by booking a visit for Thursdays or Fridays 1-3pm or 6-8pm on June 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 or July 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 & 22. Please contact the Clerk on 01773 875 093 to make an appointment.

Alternatively, drop in to the Meeting Room anytime between 10am and 12noon on Saturdays: June 18 & 25 or July 9, 16 & 23.
